Licensed Therapist, MSW, LCSW
My approach to treating OCD is simple yet effective. First, I want to get to know you and be able to connect with you. I consider it an honor and a privilege to hear your story. Second, I will provide high-quality ERP that will serve as a long-term solution to the difficulties you're facing. When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the beach. Living in Florida gives me many opportunities to snorkel, swim, and relax by the water. On most weekends, you will find me there.

Many years ago, a therapist helped a family member cope with a very severe mental illness. I watched my family member heal and was intrigued by the process of recovery and grateful for the therapist’s efforts and expertise. Many years later, I'm able to assist people with their own journeys of recovery and healing. It’s a privilege to be able to do that.
I've been a therapist for many years, and I've seen people with a variety of emotional issues and mental health disorders. I can remember seeing clients with OCD, and I felt a little bit powerless, because the interventions I was using weren't helping very much. When I discovered there was a better way to treat OCD, I was excited about learning the strategies and being able to play a role in helping people improve the quality of their lives.
For most of my career as a therapist, I worked with people struggling with addictions and trauma, mostly in U.S. government agencies and the U.S. Army. Throughout my career, I’ve been able to play a small role in helping people learn to cope with their trauma more effectively and to find and stay in recovery from substance use disorders.
