About

My approach to treating OCD includes patience and a real understanding that this process may be uncomfortable at times. Please choose to use these temporary feelings as an indicator that you're headed in the right direction. Therapy may be challenging at first; that's completely normal. Take your time and ask questions. My other specialties include body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB's), autism, substance use, family dynamics, and bipolar disorder.

Amara and I just started together recently and has been very helpful and insightful in our sessions, reframing things I said to make sure we were on the same page. The exposures and tools she has given me have helped me look at my OCD/Anxiety and recovery in a new way. I feel very comfortable with her, she understands and is easy to talk to.
